Some people are under the impression that RRA is not issuing fines until the lawsuit is settled regarding RRA control of the water. I received a $100 fine instead of $50 for a first offense! My boat was in the water--motorless and at our dock, but we were fined for no RRA decals before ever going for a ride! Any ideas as to what the confusion is?

no confusion here- the rules are clear and in place for many years- follow them and you have no problems.

I think Jodie was looking for some insight into why some people might be saying no fines are being issued, when she was in fact fined double what she should have.

law abiding citizen..do you understand all laws and obey all laws..have you ever gone one mile per hour over the speed limit or rolled thru a stop sign?  relax and be kind to your neighbors. |

I think the association fines are way out of line. $85 late fee? $100 fine? So much for community. Anyone looking to buy? What's with the impact fee? everytime a property transfers RRA collects 500.00 I was told I was paying for stuff that someone else used. They don't print that in the sales brocure! I have alot more to say but I have to go to my 3rd job to pay all my governments for all those wonderful things they don't do for me.
