What restaurants do you like to eat at in the greater Ashtabula County area? What makes them worth checking out?
I am familiar with Paradise Bay and it is okay. Simple orders like pizza and wings are best bets. More complicated dishes tend to disappoint.
Other than Paradise Bay?

Hil Maks in the Ashtabula Harbor is a seafood tradition. The Maple Leaf in Chardon is the place for pancakes with real maple syrup. The Lil Bit is across the PA border on Route 6 in Espyville. (The road number changes names at the border). Its a good greasy sthingy. El Grande steakhouse in Ashtabula is also a longstanding restaurant. Clay Street Inn on Rt. 45 in Austinburg used to be great, but I have not been to it since it closed and reopened under a new name. Watch for the (Rock Creek) Morgan Hose Pancake breakfasts and the Ox Roast.
